WHAT IS A KELAB-ORATION? 
​
A KELAB-oration is a collaborative submission by an artist and a writer. We prefer to have writers and artists KELAB-orate to create works in response to one another. 
HOW CAN I CREATE A KELAB-ORATION? 
  • Ask your faculty member about doing a Kelab-orative project. Your faculty or yourself can contact us to get the name of creatives willing to collaborate or you can request pieces of work that were not published yet to create a Kelab-oration with.
  • You can request writing or visual art from [email protected] to create their work in response to and complete a Kelab-oration.
  • When submitting work made from a Ke'lab prompt ensure you fill out the Ke'lab-oration area so we know what work you used as a prompt.
  • Join creative Forces! Plan a collaboration with a writer or artist you know or admire. Contact us at [email protected] to find a collaborative partner from our college community.
NOTES ABOUT KELAB-ORATIONS 
  • Writing and art made as a Kelab-oration may be published separately if one piece is not accepted for publication.
  • Writing your own piece and creating artwork to go with it is not a Kelab-oration since you did not create work in collaboration with another person.
